Brown Sugar Croutons

Quick and simple but oh so delicious! Serve with your favorite savory soup. I served this up with my Gourmet Pumpkin Soup tonight.

Brown Sugar Croutons

4 pieces good quality french bread
3 T butter
1 T brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 C shredded parmesan cheese

Combine sugar, butter and cinnamon. Spread on bread slices. Bake at 400° for 8-10 minutes. During last 1-2 minutes, sprinkle cheese on top and switch oven to broil. Watch closely and remove when cheese is melted and starting to golden. Cut into triangles and serve.
