Cosmo Cosmo & The Big Winner!

It’s here!! The winner of the Seattle Chocolates giveaway! Hooray! Free chocolate! Thank you for sharing, subscribing and following! I’m so blessed to have such wonderful readers. I wish I could give chocolate to you all. Alas, I have only one bag to give away. So without further delay…

Congratulations to Bella who wrote:
“I’m more like a stalker….lol I pin, tweet, subscribe via email and FB! Love your posts, and that you also hate feet. I find them a necessary evil myself.”

Hooray Bella! You win!!

*I’d like to go on record and say that I have a witness for the randomness of this drawing and it had nothing to do with Bella being a fellow feet hater. Although, I’m not gonna lie, I think she’s pretty awesome for the foot hatred.

Congrats Bella!! Since you’re a Facebook follower, shoot me your info in a message and I’ll get Seattle Chocolates to send out your bag of cocktail truffles! Which includes the divine cosmo truffle. Yummy! I can’t give everyone a cosmo truffle, but I can give you all the recipe for my vodka infused version! If you need to feel better about not winning chocolate, this is a good drink to do it with.

Seems like everyone has their favorite cosmopolitan recipe. I suppose we can thank Carrie Bradshaw for that. I’m no exception. I realized last week that I’d never shared it with you (horrors!), so I had to whip up a batch so you could all enjoy one with me.

Cosmos should be a gorgeous pink with a hint or orange and lime. The darker the color, the more cranberry juice is in there. More cranberry = less vodka = me no likey.

Cosmopolitan
makes 2 martinis

4 ounces vodka
1 3/4 ounces cointreau (or triple sec)
4 ounces cranberry juice
1/2 a lime

Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Squeeze lime into the shaker and then drop the rind in as well. Shake 20-30 times until frosty. Pour into martini glasses.

  1. OMG I never win anything! Thank you And 2 of my favorite things blended into one – chocolate and alcohol. It can’t get any better that that and since I’d sell my own mother for really good chocolate, I guess she’s earned a reprieve with me winning the Seattle Chocolates. For now! heh. Will shoot my info off to you on FB. Thanks again!
